I started my small business in California at the end of 2020 as a project and was just something to do, and I ended up falling in love with the idea I could make anything with my hands. It's become a passion of mine and something I want to continue to do with my life. I have found that one thing, that one talent that our wonderful God has blessed me with and am finally using it, and am able to bless others with the pieces I make. I am continually growing my skillset and getting many ideas all the time. I love this part of my life and will continue to make great pieces for people who love leather. I make everything 100% handmade, hand cut and sewn, some things hand dyed and burnished as well.
As a local maker, what does it mean to you to be part of a flourishing community in Huntsville?
I love going to markets and selling the artful leather pieces I make because it gets me out there exchanging conversations, meeting new faces, and seeing all the joy that comes to each individual who picks up one of my pieces and falls in love with it. My version of flourish is to continue bringing that joy to many more people out here.
