Hi, I'm Lisa!

Creating, making, painting and drawing have been a part of my life since I was very young, but were always just a side line. I finally decided to take the plunge and go full time into "making" about 5 years ago and it has been so very fulfilling to be a part of the small business community and to get to know so many other incredibly talented makers along the way! I love that I am creating something that will bring others happiness.

 

As a local maker, what does it mean to you to be part of a flourishing community in Huntsville?

I love the camaraderie I have with other makers in our community. It’s a great feeling knowing this group of hard working, creative makers, who support and encourage each other.  It takes courage to put yourself out there as a maker. So it is very gratifying to have such a wonderful community of makers here in north Alabama who encourage each other, help each other problem solve, and cheer each other on when new trails are successfully blazed on their maker journey! We have such a talented community of makers, and I feel this is a huge asset in terms of those who come to visit our area.
